Leather: About Mostro

Mostro means "monster" in Italian, and the leather was named after its rapid aging process.

We chose this leather because we want you to enjoy the way the leather darkens over time. The wax on the surface gradually seeps into the leather, giving it a shiny luster and making it smooth to the touch.

After dyeing the vegetable tanned leather, each piece is hand-painted with wax to finish it off.

We hope you enjoy your LETS notebook, which has a glossy finish thanks to the oils contained in the leather.

Individual differences

As this product is made of leather, there will inevitably be individual differences, but we believe that the apricot pink color has minimal individual differences.
